By registering for an account or using Mypen in any way, you represent that you are at least 13 years of age and that you agree to abide by all the provisions set forth in these Terms. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or legal guardian's permission to use the platform.

02User Accounts & Security

To access certain features of Mypen, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Maintain the security of your password and accept all risks of unauthorized access to your account.
• Promptly notify us if you discover or suspect any security breaches related to the platform or your account.
• Take full responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

03Content & Ownership

Your Content

You retain full ownership and intellectual property rights in any stories, poems, scripts, reviews, and comments you submit, post, or display on Mypen ("Your Content").

License to Mypen

By posting Your Content on Mypen, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, use, display, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and distribute Your Content solely for the purpose of operating, developing, and promoting our platform.

04Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

• Violating any applicable local, state, national, or international laws or regulations.
• Posting content that is defamatory, obscene, harassing, threatening, invasive of privacy, or otherwise offensive.
• Infringing the intellectual property rights, copyright, or trademarks of others.
• Using automated means (such as bots or scrapers) to access the platform or harvest data.
• Attempting to interfere with, compromise the system integrity or security, or decipher any transmissions to or from the servers running the platform.

05DMCA & Copyright Policy

Mypen respects the intellectual property rights of others. We will respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please contact us with the required information at copyright@mypen.com or through our contact form.

06Termination of Use

We reserve the right, without notice and in our sole discretion, to terminate or suspend your account and your license to use Mypen, and to block or prevent your future access to the platform for any reason, including but not limited to breach of these Terms.

07Disclaimers

Mypen is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

08Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mypen and its creators, employees, or affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the services.

09Governing Law

These Terms and your use of Mypen shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Mypen operates, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the courts located in that jurisdiction.
